Medication Management

 

Medications are important in the treatment of a variety of mental health conditions. The correct drug can dramatically improve a patient's quality of life by reducing or eliminating symptoms.

Medication management is a type of outpatient treatment that entails a certified Physician/Prescriber evaluating the patient's need for psychotropic medications, writing a prescription, and providing continuing medical monitoring linked to the patient's usage of the psychiatric medication. Drug Abuse management entails keeping track of medications, reconciling them, and ensuring that patients get the results they want. To design treatment regimens and evaluate their safety and efficacy, it takes a detailed examination of prescribed drugs and their possible adverse effects.

Client Advocate

 

The individual appointed by a provider to ensure the compliance with the client rights and grievance procedure regulation as implemented within each provider or board is referred to this as a client advocate. Client advocate seems to have the same meaning as client rights officer or client rights specialist.

Excellent Communication Skills, the ability to be empathetic (but not so empathetic that you lose focus), organizational skills, good time management, the ability to do research to solve problems, a creative side to help solve difficult problems, and the ability to get along with others are all considered necessary in all types of advocacy.
